Hi Earl,
I suspect the problem is with the Vision SDK that you downloaded from
Microsoft. We developed the PC (Windows) version of ARToolKit using
version 1.1 of the Vision SDK, but Microsoft has since upgraded this to
version 1.2. However there are some class methods in version 1.1 that are
no-longer available in version 1.2 :(
In general we've found the Vision SDK difficult to work with and unstable.
So next week we'll be putting out a PC version of ARToolKit that uses the
Intel rather than MS vision libraries. We've been using these for over two
months now with no problems.
So hopefully you can hold off until then. I anticipate getting the code
onto the ARToolKit download website by tuesday or wednesday of next week.
Hope this helps,
Mark
