Hi.
I downloaded the 2.33 Sources of the AR-Toolkit for SGI/Linux and
unpacked them. Something seems to be wrong with the archive, after
unpacking, some files and directories are named in lower case, e.g.:
makefile (instead of Makefile)
lib/src (instead of lib/SRC)
include/ar (instead of include/AR)
This is especially bad because you have to rename the SRC and AR
directories to get to compile it at all.
In addition to that, some filenames are set to executable, even
though they are source files (*.c, *.h)... Did you pack this
under MS-Windows?
By the way, did someone successfully integrate AR-Toolkit and
OpenVRML (www.openvrml.org)? I saw an implementation, but I didn't
completely like the way it was done. The OpenVRML sources had to
be modified, and there was a different Viewpoint (and Viewer) for
each AR-Object, between which the drawing routine switched...
Personally, I would prefer to put all the objects into one scene
graph and have their Transforms set by the AR-Toolkit...
I've been trying to do this, but ran into some problems...
Anyway, the AR-Toolkit is an exciting project,
Robert.
