Rodney, check out the new HP TabletPC -- their current one (the
TC1000), uses a Crusoe and GeForce2. The new one (TC1100, I think) has
a Centrino and a GeForce4 (and switches to the Wacom pen technology),
and is pretty much the same form factor! This one will be great for AR
As I showed you at ISMAR, even the TC1000 doesn't do a terrible job at
video-mixed AR if you have "real" trackers (what I didn't show you was
the fidicial processing -- it's noticeably slow on the Crusoe). The
new one should handle the AR Toolkit just fine.
