have a look at "Deep Exploration".
it can read vrml, obj and lots of other file formats and also save into 
opengl code.
unfortunately its not free but i think, there is at least an evaluation 
version.

Hi,

There is a nice object viewer-converter called Deep Exploration
(http://www.righthemisphere.com/products/dexp/). I have used it in the past
and it converts objects into a C structure + OpenGL. I hope that this helps.
