Recently i had the chance to install the ARToolKit 2.61 in an iBook and a=
 Dual
G4 both computers with Panther installed. The compilation was very easy. =
 But
when i use a Firewire camera it has a lot of lag and runs very slow compa=
red
with a Pentium III/linux/same camera.. (even the dual G4!)

I don't have much access to those Mac to check what is happening but mayb=
e
somebody knows what is wrong..

Pedro,

The Mac video driver in ARToolKit 2.61 and 2.65 has some major flaws.
I have corrected these and will release an updated version of the Mac
video driver soon. It is currently undergoing testing.
