Dear AR Toolkit'ers,
some addition to AR Toolkit (and promised last year at AR Toolkit
Workshop in Tokyo *cough*) a very simple Lua wrapper for AR Toolkit.
It is mainly aimed as addition to my Open Source VR/AR prototyping
system ScripTAP/libTAP (http://libtap.sourceforge.net).
Using it with this will provide you very easy video capture through
DirectShow,VfW or Carnegie Mellon University DCAM driver etc. pp.
luaART is published under the terms of the GPL and I will try to port it
to the new 2.69 in the next weeks. Sourcecode is included in the
installer and should compile fine on other OS'es.
It is very simple OO styled (see 1.). Multimarker and normal marker can
be mixed arbitrarly.

Hartmut
out of the sample artoolkit.lua:
-- initialize the window
window:init(0,0,width,height,"AR Toolkit on Lua Demo",24)
-- create a new marker
marker = artMarker:new()
-- load a pattern to the marker
marker:loadPattern("patt.hiro",80)
-- add this marker to the tracker
tracker:addMarker(marker)
-- other inits ...
-- if the (preloaded) marker is visible
if marker:isVisible() then
-- do some stuff
end
