Hello,
=20
While trying to increase the frame rate on an application, I found that
the program was spending nearly 80% of its time in the argDispImage
routine. I decided to call the openGL routines directly and found no
improvement (congratulations on very efficient code), because the slow
down was caused by the glDrawPixels function.
=20
The graphics card in my laptop is a Radeon 9700, which seems to be good
at 3D but not so hot in 2D processing (if it even gets used?).
=20
I want to convert the frame to a texture, apply it to a quad, and
display it in the background. An Internet search revealed that
DrawDibDraw might be useful, but I was wondering if anyone else had
tried this already.
=20
Thanks.
=20
Matthew
