Hi,
my problem is the following:
i wanted to get the ideal screen coords of an VRML object that i load in the
ARToolkit. I make a translation to it. So i thought it is possible to
multiply this translation to the gl_para matrix , so that i got a new matrix
to draw the object directly at the tranlated point via the new matrix. My
problem is now that i have to get the ideal screen coordinates of this
translated point where the object is drawn.
Unfortunately the values[12][13][14][15] in the gl_para are not useful for
getting ideal screen coordinates cause they are sometimes positive and
sometimes negative...
(thus theres no way to multiply a point with the matrix and get the coords
:( ).
I wanted to know if there is any possibility to get the ideal screen
coordinates out of the gl_para matrix?
Normaly the position in ideal screen coords for each marker is stored in the
marker_info struct, so there must be a way to figure out the marker position
in ideal screen coords. My hope is now that this is possible via the gl_para
matrix, cause then its possible for me to get the coords of the translated
object in ideal screen coordinates.
I need this for the university and i would be very grateful if anyone could
help me with that ;)
Fabian
