Dear all,
I tried to use a "USB Logitech Quick Cam Express" to run the AR-Toolkit.
Unfortunately, when the camera settings window appears (Property Sheet 
Properties), the default frame rate is 15,000 and the checkbox "flip 
horizontal" is disabled.

As a result the video is not correctly displayed.

I tried with another Logitech WebCam and this problem does not occur.

Is it just due to the web Cam ?
Does anybody else experienced this problem with the QC Express ?

What are the minimum requirements for a webCam to be able to run the 
ARtoolkit ?

Hi Emmanuel,

I had the same problem with the QuickCam Express. It's easy to solve if you 
have the latest drivers that you can download from logitech's page.

After you install the drivers it will add an icon to the system tray. When 
the artoolkit application is running click on this camera system tray icon 
and choose camera settings, then you have the options "Mirror Horizontal" 
and "Mirror Vertical". I only had to choosed "Mirror Vertical" and the 
video is ok now.

I hope this works for you too.

has anyone had problems with specifically logitech messenger cameras and
artoolkit?=20

Will run fine but within ARToolkit apps such as simple.exe - getting
blank screen - this is across a number of laptops and desktop PC's.

We are having no problems with pro400

Is it a problem with directx?  The PC's all have directx9.* installed

Any ideas - or known issue with bargain cameras?
