HI all,
I am looking at ways of making fiducials for a museum exhibit. The markers
have to be pretty tough to survive hundreds of grubby mitts during
interaction.
I guess there are two basic approaches:
1. make them so cheaply and quickly that you just thrwo them away
and replace them regularly.
2. make them super tough so they last for ages and ages.
We have a printer that can frint on fabric. The fabric is tough but the ink
rubs off over time. It's not such a chep way to do things but if we find the
right kind of matt-finish laquer, maybe that will be okay. Because we want
to use cubes with markers on each side, we are concerned about them coming
unstuck.
Any hints from the veterans out there? :)
