ARToolkit project with low-income teenagers shown in Seattle

For those of you in the Seattle, WA, USA area, I wanted to mention that 
there's going to be a presentation of a project using ARToolkit at the 
Experience Music Project in Seattle. About six teenagers from low-income 
families worked with us to create a live music-mixing technology. The 
students chose music tracks that fit together well, and then created 3D 
models of musical instruments to go with those. The tracks turn on when 
markers are placed in front of the camera. The volume of the track is 
dependent on how close the marker is to the camera.

We will be presenting in the Learning Lab on the first floor of the 
Experience Music Project on August 23rd from 4 to 5pm. It's free and 
open to the public.
