Hi,
You can search some open sources for playing sound. For example, I used
fmod(http://www.fmod.org/) library based on ARToolKit_PPC one year ago.
It worked quite well even for a PocketPC platform. So, it should be done
well for the desktop platform.
Unlike "PlaySound", the sound was not cut in the middle of viewing 3D
images. There was another library, but I did not remember its name. :-(
Good luck!

Subject: Using PlaySound() in ARToolkit
Hi, i wish to play an audio .wav file while a 3D model spin on top of the AR
marker.I have tried using PlaySound function but the audio is always cut
short when the program goes to draw the models and capture the next scene.My
guess is that PlaySound is using the same set of resource as the video
capture or draw. Can anyone solve this problem?
