Hi,
I want to calibrate a hmd(Microvision Nomad system), but i have
difficulties to do it.
It's a monocular and optical see-through hmd. I have done some
modifications in optical
project to calibrate just one eye .
After calibration, augmented objects are perfectly displayed.
Then, calibration is working. I save my results as a .dat
file like for camera parameters(ARParam structure).
But, when I load this file in my own project replacing
default camera parameters , the augmented objects are not exactly
surimposed on the markers. It seems that the parameters I have
saved do not integrate my initial camera calibration.
A solution can be to integrate my project in optical
example(or the inverse) but gsub library is completly different
from optical application (based on libARgsub) to my project
(based on libARgsub_lite and developped from simplevrml
example in artookit 2.70), it will be a lot of work to
adapt it.
How should I do?
I may need to combine both camera and HMD parameters to get
global parameters. I'm not sure about the way to do that,
tests are not very relevant.
