Hi everybody,
may I know is there a different between the Planar-surface tracking technique and the Feature tracking technique? Because from what I know both techniques involved the computation of the homographies in order to determine the camera positions, to recover the camera rotations and also to monitor the image motions of a video sequence.
Moreover, it seems to me that the Feature tracking is somehow making use of the Planar-surface tracking technique to track its natural features like building located on the ground (ground is equivalent to planar surface)
If the answer to my above question is that they are the same techniques, can I assume that the algorithms they are using are the same? Such that Planar-surface's algorithm is the same as the Feature tracking's algorithm?
Thank you very much and hope my doubt can be solved. Wish to hear from you soon.
Warmest Regards,
AR newbie.
