Hello to all,
I'd like to announce the platform OpenInterface (www.openinterface.org)
founded by SIMILAR -The European taskforce creating human-machine
interfaces SIMILAR to human-human communication (IST - FP6) .
It's a C++ component-based multi-platform able to connect components in
C/C++, Matlab and Java for now.
The goal of this platform is to facilitate the design of multimodal
applications.
We have integrated ARToolkit (for gestual interactions) and Sphinx (for
speech recognition commands) as components into the platform.
The first platform version (for Linux) as well as the components used
in the DEMO can be downloaded at
http://www.openinterface.org/?page_name=Download
Installation instructions can be found here:
http://www.openinterface.org/?page_name=Installation
The graphical editor and a windows version are coming soon...I hope ;)
Thanks for your feedback,
Daniela
