it seems to me that the inevitable loss of marker recognition
could be dealt with more gracefully, for instance fading out the
composited scene when the marker is dropped and fading it back
again when detected.
has anyone explored this? if not i'll have a go at it myself using
in other news, i've managed to get animated cal3D models up and
running in ARToolkit/osgART via the osgCal library. my build
environment is all a bit of a mess right now but i will post the
process and some code (for Linux) soon enough.
