The question isn't clear; artoolkit comes with multimarker.
Do you mean a multimarker that acts as a ceiling tracker and covers a
room? Lots of people have tried, nobody has got it working yet (not
through lack of effort).

If you want to see something very elaborate in that direction, that
doesn't use the ARToolkit of course, check our our AR/Facade
installation (www.gvu.gatech.edu/arfacade). We took the Facade game,
and converted it to an immersive AR experience ... the original
Facade (www.interactivestory.net) runs on a PC and takes place in a
virtual apt; ours takes place in a real apt, with just the two
characters being virtual.
For those of you who will be in Los Angeles before Christmas, it's
set up and running at the Beall Center (beallcenter.uci.edu) at UC
Irvine till then.

It would be great to be able to do this without high end equipment,
but it's not possible yet.
