Hi everyone,
I am using ARToolkit 2.72 under Windows XP with Visual C++ 2005 Express
and a Logitech Quickcam Communicate STX. I've been using the package for
a while and everything was working well until a few days ago. Now, when
I try to run the demos, they crash while starting. Other webcam apps
work fine. The specific error I am getting is this:
Unhandled exception at 0x004b4b0f in videoTestd.exe: 0xC0000005:
Access violation reading location 0x00000000.
So it looks like somewhere a pointer isn't being set properly. The error
occurs inside videoWin32DirectShow.cpp at line 163 which reads:
if (FAILED(vid->graphManager->BuildGraphFromXMLFile(config)))
return(NULL);
The BuildGraphFromXMLFile(config) call is causing the problems (which is
inside the DSVL.dll). So far I haven't figured out how to see what is
causing the problems in DSVL.
Since the demos did work before, I can only conclude that this is being
caused by my computer configuration. Has anybody experienced similar
problems? I believe I upgraded the Logitech drivers since it last
worked. The drivers are version 11.1.0.2016.
Thanks in advance,
