I'd like to take a screen pixel position and create a line that starts at
the camera origin and passes through that position in the same coordinate
system an observed marker would have, and with camera parameters corrected
for. I would end up with a line defined by two points- one point is 0,0,0
for the camera origin and another is floating in space at an arbitrary
distance but points in the correct direction.
Do I use arParamObserv2Ideal(), and use something else from the param object
also?
This video shows more of what I'm trying to do (using a naive/manually
calibrated approach for generating a line), the coordinates of a laser dot
are found and then the intersection of a line through that dot and a line
defined by the fiducial is found to create a depth map:
