Welcome everybody!

Please note the following about this class:

The main components of this class are: 4 homeworks, one midterm take-home assignment and a group project.

Students will be required to work in groups of 4 on a project of their choice.

The project topic will have to be decided within a couple of weeks from the beginning of the quarter and a mid-term presentation will have to be made at the end of the first month. You will be required to discuss and take help from the instructor and TA while deciding on your topic. Here are some examples of project work done by students for this class in previous quarters.

Lab/homework will be done in groups of 2 and the project work will be done in groups of 4 consisting of 2 lab groups.

Project work carries 40% of your grade, homeworks carry 40% and the take home assignment carries 20% of your grade

The class strongly encourages collaboration amongst students and encourages teamwork. 80% of your grade depends on work done in groups
