Ani Vijayakanthan

Ani joined the HIT Lab in October 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore, India.

He has a background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and is interested in working with Digital Image and Signal Processing and understanding how DSP Algoritms can be implemented in VR . Ani worked as a Software Design Engineer for a Multi-National IT Consulting Firm in India before joining the HIT Lab.

His current research interests include Digital Signal Processing and Digital Image Processing. He is also interested in Communication Engineering and Computer Networks.

Outside of the lab Ani enjoys sports: soccer, cricket, swimming and badminton in particular. He is also a huge movie and sitcom buff.
