I am new to this newsgroup so forgive me if I say anything said before...
But I get the feeling that there are many others out there like myself that
have a little money and a lot of desire to get their hands on some low-end VR.
What I propose is that we start an informal consortium dedicated to exploring
our available options.

I mean things that we can do TODAY, with the computers we ALREADY have.
Some ideas I've been thinking about...

Public Domain source code for very simple 3D rendering on a mac or pc.

Simple and cheap interfaces...Including the Nintendo PowerGlove (has
anyone successfully used it with a mac?) Or the Sega3D LCD glasses, which
can easily be hooked up to a mac.

If there are others out there that share my desire to actually do
something ourselves, then please mail me. Please also mail me if you have
ideas or plans for low-end VR systems or interfaces. Thanks.
