One of the unique features of the Virtual Retinal Display (VRD) is the ability to create an image directly on the retina. This animation shows the VRD (right) projecting a laser beam carrying the video image through the pupil onto the retina (far left).The point of laser light is scanned horizontally and vertically very quickly, creating the image point-by-point onto the back of the eye. | |||
