Greetings all,

I am a student at CAD Institute majoring in Virtual Reality and computer
animation. For our VR projects class I am the one in my group that has to
find out information on companies in Colorado that specialize in the VR
field. And if possible the addresses of these companies. And also what they
look for in a prospective <sp?> employee. Many thanx from my group and any
information will be MUCH useful.

Good night from AZ :[

Hi,
In a previous post, someone mentioned something about VRML, I was
wondering if anyone knew where I could find out more about this
language. They also stated that the language was developed by a Mark
Pesce of a San Franciso based company called "Community Co.", does anyone
know of a way I can contact them? I would appreciate email to my address
at rw@primenet.com, but you may just respond to this post. I tried
emailing the poster, but I have not gotten any response back yet.

Thanks,
Robert

Hi

I have been looking at various commercial and free/shareware VR
applications and am more interested in those that appear as a total
environment that one can just import models built in various formats
into.

I am not really looking at the software writing end, ie things like
AVRIL Cyberspace Developers kit, and want to know some mopre
information on Superscape.

Is this a set of software routines or is it a complete environment?
Can it import from AutoCAD, via DXF I imagine?

Thanks for any brief info you may have.

Hello,

There's been few years ago before HMD appearance on the market another 3D
perception device based on LC shutters , I heard several names of it eg.
Crystal Eyes , Chopper , Sega Glasses etc I don't know which one is right.

Anyway maybe someone knows if it's still available on the market somehow ,
or if I could buy components used for its construction - you see I need
this thing for my diploma ( I study computer science in Poland ) and HMDs
are not yet available at my school.

Bartek :)
