Anyone know of any 'human factor' research done on head mounted displays and their positive or negative effects? (Or anyone know any good anecdotes?)

Thanks, Morgan

I am looking for information/techniques/equipment/papers/publications
on motion tracking systems of the type used in total immersive virtual
reality headsets.

I am doing a project for the 4th year of my BSc in software
engineering which will track the motion of a motor-disabled persons
head with a view to controlling the mouse pointer in MS Windows on a
PC.

If anyone has any information that they could pass on to me I would be
eternally gratefull.

If you could e-mail me directly it would be a great help.

Thanx.

I have two questions. What is the best software on the market? What
are the best HMDs? I am just looking for oppinions. If you want to
write and essay about VR, that is fine too.

info you can. Essays are great if you like to write.

I heard from a guy I met the other day that there is some fancy
multi-player virtual reality arcade game called Virtual World or
something like that. Does anyone know anything about it? Where can I play
it? Is it in any arcades in the UK?
