I'm seriously thinking about buying IO-glasses but I don't know whether I
should get the "normal" things or the developer kit. Do anybody know about the
kit and what it contains (yes, I've read the www-page) and how
useful/necessary the info is (spending 1500$ instead of 749$ rips a hole big
enough to kill leisure time activities for about three months). I'd really
like someone to tell me more about the glasses and their ease of use.

I guess this is in a FAQ or something, anyway: which 3D design applications
are available for free or for, say, up to 150$ and worth their money. I know
that there are REND386 and VR-386 for free. How good are those?

  Thanx a lot,

  Hello,

I'm working on VR system core for PC (for my MSc) and look for
books/publications presenting effective algorithms for TEXTURE MAPPING
and/or COLLISION DETECTION. Please send me suggestions.

Is there maybe any discussion list devoted to 3D-imaging (I tried
sd3d@sdsc.edu but it seems to be down)

regards,

Bartek Jarocki

Does anyone know of any VR software available for the Mac to create
virtual 3D environments as well as various hardware such as HMDs?
