Try contacting PBS (Public Broadcasting) in the U.S. and ask for
Scientific American Frontiers (with Alan Alda).
There are at least two episodes that discuss VR.

I went to this page and just clicked on the highlighted Live3D.

Hi, folks!

I've accumulated a lot of thoughts, ideas, problems and solutions
in the area (in real life I make RT3D engines)...

Is there some online chats or seminars I can participate in?

Online is preferred, because I'm very shy and may have difficulties
with spoken English.

Thanks alot,
Yuri.

Does anyone know a way to locate or get information to William and/or
Meredith Bricken, formerly with the Human Interface Technology Lab in
Seattle?

I've come across a reference to some early papers of theirs building
on the work of British mathematician G. Spencer Browne in developing a
logic of VW/VR. Those papers are no longer available from HIT Lab.
Gratefull for any information, or any message passed along to them.

Thanks,

Late at night, I crawl into bed; my wife is asleep and I turn on the TV.
The flashing images disturbs her sleep. She says it's either her or the
TV.

I want a TV replacement I can wear. The 1 1/2 year old Virtual I-O
glasses that I borrowed from a friend are fair, but I can see the pixels.
I'd like something better.

      * Do you know of anything in the $500 range that does better?;
      * Which is currently the best?
      * The most bang for buck?
      * Where do I get it?
      * Can I get it at a discount?
      * Assuming I can't do better than what I've borrowed, how long do
you
think I need to wait to get something decent in that price range?

Thanks in advance for your advice.
