Has anyone come across any good on-line locations or respositories of
VR papers ? Pointers to any locations or urls would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

[The reference FAQ has a good list to start with:
http://www.hitl.washington.edu/scivw/reference-faq.html

Also, my On the Net document has an Electronic Document section:

The best bet would be to check the research centers, they usually have a list of publications that they make available on the WWW. For example, our HITL Publications are at:

http://www.hitl.washington.edu/publications/

For a list of research centers, see:

I recently picked up a mattel power-glove fairly cheap.. I've always been
fascinated with the idea of hooking it up to my PC... I've hear about things
like the menelli box.. Are those still sold? Or are there scematics to build
an interface box? Can anyone point me to any solid web/ftp resources.. Or
give me any first hand advice? Anything would be appreciated! Thanks..

[The best WWW stuff on the Power-Glove, IMHO, is Chris Hands Pages:

Hello, I'm a sophmore at the Eastern Shore Community College, and I'm
doing a research project on Virtual Reality. I was wondering if you
could help me find some information...if you've seen the movie
"CONGO", I want information on the device that "Amy, the gorilla"
wore, that enabled her to speak. If you can help me, I would greatly
appreciate it!! Thank you.

[Closest thing that I can think of is the Virtual Technology's Cyberglove and the GestureWear:
