Hello,

I am very interested in purchasing a pair of virtual i-o glasses.
Does anyone know of any vendors that still sell them?

Thanks in advance,

Anyone know anything about a HMD called visual i.o or i.glasses??
Please email to

dragoncm@san.rr.com

[Virtual i-O, the company that produced i-glasses no longer exists.

Virtual Research will be distributing i-glasses and Ilixico will be
producing them.

------------------------------
Data Sheet

i-glasses are a lightweight Personal Display System that
give a big-screen, full-color view while allowing you to
retain your peripheral vision. They are 3-D and are
compatible with televisions, VCRs, personal computers
    and all major gaming systems.

There are currently two models--the VTV and the
Protec. The VTV is ideal for patient distraction
applications, while the VGA-resolution Protec is designed
    for high-end VR applications.

Although similar in many ways to head-mounted displays
(HMDs) currently on the market, i-glasses are superior
because they allows the user to view full-color images
and the peripheral environment simultaneously. In
addition, at 8 ounces, i-glasses are much lighter than any
HMD on the market and are compatible with prescription
    eyeglasses.

The i-glasses VTV plug directly into just about any
standard television, VCR, laserdisc, or electronic gaming
system. The Protec plugs into a PC through the converter
included in the set, all you need is a sound card for audio.
No special video card or drivers are needed.
