For Sale NTSC Converters $54.00 (found some more)
(plus shipping/handling)

I found a few more of these VGA to TV converters
today for $54.00 and bought them. There seem to be
folks who need them (for less than $139.00). I want to
add $5.00 to cover my time for packing and driving
to the post office.

Includes a copy of DOOM game
Your cost: $ 59.00 plus $5 shipping. Mail check or money
order to: Allan Lamb 1601 N. Sepulveda Blvd. # 254
Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
(total $64.00)

These are the gameblaster/zapper things and they come with games
as well as the converter. All new and in original box. Can
use for any DOS based PC to TV connection as well as VictorMaxx Virtual
Reality Headsets. Also works with VCR.

VictorMaxx and StuntMaster are trademarks of VictorMaxx, Inc.
GameZaper is a product of Advanced Digital Systems (ADS)
Any other trademarks are trademarks of the respective companies.

VitocrMaxx HMD "virtual reality" looks just like you would expect a
classic VR HMD to look - gogglelike. It's a color binolocular non-stero
It is great for games (i.e don't try to read microdots). Uses a simple fresnell
lens system. Has volume, brightness, color tint and sensitivity controls.
Senses left/right movement via a potentiometer (I think) on the headset that
attaches to the "subject."

It was originally built for Nintendo or Sega games and comes with two
"sets" of cables for this purpose with instructions on how to hook up to
these systems. The setup is ready to go and you don't need anything else
to use it with the games.

We hackers use them on our PC's. To do this you need to make or tap into
the sega cable (you could use the nintendo cable, but I used sega).
There is the classic 15 pin connector and I can provide all the pin-outs
to you that I received from VictorMaxx. I made a "jumper cable" between
the 15 pin HMD connection and the Sega cable.

For the PC you will need a NTSC adaptor (i.e. GameZapper-included) (PC to
TV) that converts your VGA output signal to a TV (video signal).

I have used this on both my laptop and stand alone PC's.All components
(except the 15-pin jumper cable and the AVRIL s/w) is new and in the
unopened box. The actual detailed specs are not in the documentation,
simply how to set it up and the usual do's and don'ts you get with a
toster. Great for games and it's the next best thing to the $800 range
of VR gear. I use it with REND386 and my hacked up VR glove and have a
great time.

Mail check or money orders to:

Give me a couple of days to ensure the check clears...

Additional notes:

1. Uses a "left" signal when player turns head to left and right when
turning right.

2. Two modes (there is a mode switch). Scroll mode- a directional signal
is issued as lond as your head is turned. When you stop turning the
signal stops. Sega supports only this mode. Nintendo supports this mode
plus a scan mode. No comments as to what this is.

3. The sensitivity adjustment controls how many degrees you need to turn
your head to issue a signal.

4. Data uses a 16 bit word, turning bits on and off to signify the state
of the various button inputs (for Super NES). This word is sent to the
cpu via pins 11 and 12.

5. Sega use multiplexed (2X4) parallel communication plus two independent
lines for up and down. The right and left signal are sent via pins 11 and 12.

Subject: FOR-SALE: EYEGEN3 HMD

For Sale: VIRTUAL RESEARCH EYEGEN3 head-mounted display

Excellent condition, recently tuned-up with new components. Display
resolution of (360 x 240 color elements), full-range flat response
Sennheiser stereo headphones, 40 degree FOV at full overlap. This is a
professional CRT-based HMD which provides excellent stereoscopic detail and
performance for resolution-critical applications. The unit has been used
less than a year, and originally cost $7,900.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this unit, we simply need an HMD that
offers a wider FOV, and we're trying to offset the cost of similar newer
models which cost nearly $8000. We will include shipping costs, all
connecting cables, and documentation, for $3000.

If you're interested please contact us!
