Version 2.0 of AVRIL is now available on sunee.uwaterloo.ca, in the
pub/avril directory. The filename is avril20.zip, and the old version
(avril11.zip) is now in the old_versions subdirectory.

AVRIL is a freeware VR library that currently PC-based systems (386 and
above) with Borland C 3.1; it will soon be available for other
platforms.

Changes since version 1.1 include:
    HMD support:
        CyberMaxx (VictorMaxx Technologies)
        i-glasses! (Virtual i/o)
        7th Sense (All-Pro)
    Input device support:
        CyberWand from InWorld VR
        FifthGlove from 5DT
    Stereoscopic viewing
    Gouraud shading
    Modular video driver
    Modular display driver

The documentation has also been updated and modularized into a Tutorial,
a Technical Reference, and a set of Appendices (containing information
about writing video drivers, among other things).

Some of the features are not fully implemented, and no attempt has been
made to optimize the code yet, so there'll soon be a 2.1 release. I'm
releasing 2.0 now just because so many people have been asking about it.

Have fun!
