[1] Sale Of CAE-Link to Hughes
Date: Thu Dec 15 21:59:58 PST 1994
Organization: NASA Ames Research Center
Summary: CAE sells part of CAE-Link to Hughes
Keywords: uh-oh_perfidious_canucks

It was apparently announced this AM in Binghamton NY that CAE
Industries of Toronto had sold the Military programs currently being
undertaken by its CAE-Link subsidiary of Binghamtom to Hughes for
$155M US. No facilities are to change hands. CAE seems to be going to
continue producing some civil products at CAE-Link (anesthesiology
trainers and Air Traffic Control simulations?). The implications of
the sale for CAE-Link are unclear at present.
