Cyberfin Immersive Dolphin Encounter Comes Home To InnerSpace

Media Premiere & Press Conference Wednesday, June 28th, 8am-10 am
Opens to Public, Saturday, June 31st

(Santa Monica, CA) - Cyberfin, an immersive dolphin encounter
which virtually transports guests into an underwater location
populated with friendly and inquisitive dolphins, will premier to
the media this Wednesday, June 28th, from 8 am - 10 am. The 15
minute news conference and individual demonstrations will be
hosted at InnerSpace, a location-based mind exploration center
located on Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade. Members of the
media are invited to enter Cyberfin's critically acclaimed watery
world of sight, sounds, and feelings - presented in full sensory
engagement virtual reality.

The creators of Cyberfin: David Cole, founder and chairman of the
AquaThought Foundation which developed Cyberfin, Don Estes,
founder and president of InnerSense (parent company of
InnerSpace), creator of the Vibrasound technology on which
Cyberfin is based, and Christopher Carson, founder of Reverie
Productions, producer of Cyberfin, will introduce the concept,
research, technology, and values behind the Cyberfin project.
Following the conference, refreshments will be served while each
guest takes the Cyberfin plunge. InnerSpace is located at 1225
Third Street Promenade (between Wilshire and Arizona) in Santa
Monica 310-260-7895.

Cyberfin was first demonstrated to the public last July at
SIGGRAPH 94, a conference which showcases the latest in
multimedia and virtual reality technology. Cyberfin met with
resounding success, receiving accolades on the television
programs Beyond 2000 and Next Step, and in Wired Magazine, Mother
Jones Magazine, Mondo 2000 Magazine, Computer Design Journal, and
Virtual Reality Special Report Magazine. In an excerpt from an
Internet discussion group following the SIGGRAPH conference, D.
Frerichs said," I would like to congratulate Cyberfin's creators
for developing an immersive environment which actually triggered
an emotional response.... you get up with the biggest smile on
your face. It was a great achievement in taking technology beyond
crude hardware and turning it into a medium of expression."

The AquaThought Foundation is a privately funded research
organization which studies the neurological result of close
dolphin contact and related therapeutic phenomena. AquaThought
first created Cyberfin as a research tool for exploring dolphin
assisted therapy. InnerSense has over 25 years of experience in
Neurotechnology research and product development, and is the
manufacturer of the Vibrasound technology that makes Cyberfin
possible. In addition to their involvement in the initial design
and manufacturing of Cyberfin, InnerSense is responsible for the
further development and application of Cyberfin . Reverie Film
Productions is an independent film company which is dedicated to
producing content which expands audience perception of the
natural world. Their collective of award-winning visionary
artists have realized that goal in their creation of the Cyberfin
content. Reverie is currently developing a fully interactive
story line for Cyberfin which has been described as a "wearable
documentary."
