DIVISION LTD. NAMED AS INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTOR OF
 FAKESPACE IMMERSIVE DISPLAYS

Agreement Expands Availability of Industry's Highest Resolution Display
for Virtual Reality Applications

Menlo Park, Calif. -- March 28, 1995 -- Fakespace, Inc. announced today
that Division Limited (Bristol, England), has been named as a
distributor of Fakespace immersive displays in Europe, South Africa and
Israel. Division will sell and support the Fakespace BOOM3CTM to
scientific research and industrial virtual reality markets, with
particular emphasis on high-end engineering and training applications.
The non-exclusive agreement provides a more local presence for
Fakespace in Europe and additional international markets. Previous
sales to these regions were handled directly from the company's
California headquarters.
"We're very pleased to establish a sales and support arrangement
with one of the leading suppliers of virtual reality systems," said
David Eggleston, vice president of sales and marketing at Fakespace.
"Fakespace has always worked closely with our customers to assure that
our technology is integrated into a fully functional system that meets
their specific needs. The new relationship with Division is optimal
because they take the same approach, creating complete virtual reality
systems that are tailored for the individual application."
According to Charles Grimsdale, chief executive officer at Division
Ltd., "Fakespace BOOM displays are recognized worldwide as the best
immersive display devices for computer-aided design applications such as
virtual prototyping. The combination of these displays with Division
software products represents an extremely powerful solution for high-end
CAD applications. We are pleased to be able to represent and support
the BOOM."
The BOOM3C field sequential color display provides full-color,
1280 x 1024 pixel per eye resolution and up to a 140 degree field of
view. Division will distribute the BOOM3C and Fakespace's VLIBTM-SGI (a
software library used to adapt applications for true 3D immersive
display), in Belgium; Denmark; Finland; France; Germany; Greece;
Holland; Ireland; Israel; Italy; Norway; Portugal; South Africa; Spain;
Sweden; and the United Kingdom. Fakespace will provide training for
Division engineering personnel, who will be authorized by Fakespace to
support the company's products.
The Division Group of companies specializes in providing virtual
reality technology, products, and services for professional virtual
reality applications. Headquartered in Bristol, England, Division has
four U.S. offices and distributors throughout Europe, the Middle East
and the Far East. The company has sold integrated virtual reality
systems and services to a world-wide customer base of professional users
that includes McDonnell Douglas, NASA, British Telecommunications plc,
GTE, Nynex, Glaxo, the Department of Defense, Virtual World
Entertainment, and Matsushita. Its shares are traded on the London
Stock Exchange.
Fakespace is the leading supplier of three-dimensional (3D)
immersive visualization systems used for interacting with virtual
environments created for applications in scientific and commercial
research, product design and engineering, and location-based
entertainment. The company's products include a family of
high-resolution immersive BOOM (Binocular Omni-Orientation Monitor)
display devices, hardware systems and software for integrating
applications into 3D visualization systems, and consulting services for
applications development. Profitable since its founding in 1988, the
privately-held company is preparing for accelerated growth and the
introduction of new products for development and interaction with
computer-generated virtual environments.
