ThreeSpace, a Los Angeles based computer animation and
interactive media company, will open on January 15th its
Optical Motion Capture studio.

This state of the art studio will function as a service bureau
for other computer animation and game development
companies, as well as for in-house production. The data can
be delivered in raw mode, or integrated with most animation
software, such as Wavefront, Prisms, Alias, 3D Studio, and
SoftImage.

The multi-camera optical based system is able to handle up to
120 samples per second of data coming from a large number
of control points without the need of heavy suits and cables,
and the resulting data is much cleaner than with the
commonly used magnetic systems.

For more information please call ThreeSpace at
(310)837-4450, fax (310)837-4470 or send private e-mail to
al.3spc@ix.netcom.com.
