Special Call for Papers:
Virtual Environments and Systems for Product Development

Papers and proposals for panel sessions are invited for submission in the 
area of Virtual Environments and Systems for Product Development for the 
1995 American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) International Computers 
in Engineering Conference.  This conference will be held in conjunction with 
ASME Database Symposium and ASME Design Technical Conferences.  The sessions 
on Virtual Environments and Systems for Product Development will focus on 
the following topics as well as general applications of virtual environments 
and systems to solve engineering problems:

o Virtual prototyping
o Virtual reality applications in design
o Virtual reality applications in manufacturing
o Visualization of manufacturing processes
o Virtual manufacturing process models
o Product models for virtual environments
o Life-cycle models for virtual environments



Four copies of the full paper or four copies of the panel proposal 
(including title,  names of panelists, and abstract) should be submitted to
