Research projects, prototype demonstrations and case studies should be submitted for review. The Conference will include, but it will not be limited to, the following areas: spatial multimedia technologies and services; visualization and animation of spatial data; virtual environments; spatial information highways and spatial digital libraries. PAPERS Technical papers, preferably accompanied by a videotape, on completed or in-progress research, innovative applications, or experience with multimedia and virtual reality systems are solicited. Prototype demonstrations or videotape presentations are required to supplement the talks. Awards will be given to outstanding papers. Accepted papers will be posted on the Internet. Selected papers will be forwarded to IEEE Multimedia, Presence, International Journal of GIS and Environment and Planning B.
