The Society for Computer Simulation (SCS) is a professional society devoted
primarily to the advancement of simulation and allied computer arts in all
fields. The purpose of SCS is to facilitate communication among
practitioners in the areas of computer simulation and mathematical
modeling. SCS has a worldwide membership and is a member of the American
Federation of Information Processing Societies and the American Automatic
  Control Council.

Planning is underway for the 1996 Conference on Military, Government, and
Aerospace Simulation. This is a stand-alone, technical conference in
conjunction with the 1996 Simulation MultiConference on Computer Simulation
sponsored by the Society for Computer Simulation. The 1996 Simulation
MultiConference will be held March 31 - April 4 in New Orleans, Louisiana
and promises to be one of the best yet. The subject material covers a wide
variety of industrial, commercial and government interests.

I ask that you please give the enclosed conference announcement and call
for papers to any persons in your organization that are involved in the
area of military, government, or aerospace simulation. If you, yourself,
are interested in any of these areas, please consider actively
participating in the conference. If you have any other areas that you
would like to sponsor, please send me a session proposal. If you know of
others that may be interested in serving as a group leader, session leader
or a session discussant, please pass this notice and enclosure on and let
me know of their potential interest.

Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to having you or any
other members of your organization attend and/or participate in the
  conference.

                                Sincerely,

                                Michael J. Chinni

The 1996 Simulation Multi-Conference features simulations and
simulation technology in a wide array of disciplines within the military,
government and aerospace arena. These disciplines include weapons, vehicles,
aircraft, spacecraft, communications, and decision support.

The topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
		- Visualization and Virtual Reality
		- C4I Simulation
		- Embedded Training
		- Battle Field/Battle Theater Simulation
		- Distributed Interactive Simulation
		- Avionics/Flight Control Simulation and Visualization
		- Ballistics and Propellant Simulation
		- Flight Simulation and Methodologies
		- Lethality, Vulnerability, and Survivability
		- Mission Planning and Rehearsal
		- Simulation and Control of Spacecraft
		- Intelligent Systems Simulation
                - Test and Evaluation

Engineering personnel, Modelers, researchers, developers, and
experimentalists from industry, academia, DOD, DOE, and other government
installations are invited to contribute and participate in this conference.
Send three copies of original previously unpublished papers or abstracts to the
address below by September 29, 1995. Notification of acceptance or rejection
will be made by October 20, 1995. Author kits should be received by accepted
