I'm glad to announce W3 Kiosk, a new Multimedia Toolbook 3.0
application (MS Windows platform) that makes possible the
conversation between Netscape and a running Toolbook instance,
through the use of specific HTML tags.

This software is particularly suited for multimedia kiosk
applications that want to have a gateway to the Internet,
and at the same time it will avoid the user getting lost
during navigation.

Using the VRX 2.0 technology (check webs below) it is also
possible to include 360 degree views in your kiosk application.

Check the Big Brother Browser demo available on the Web
as a sample application of bi-directional conversation between
Toolbook and Netscape.

W3 Kiosk is freeware (incredible, isn't it ?) either for
business and research/educational purposes.

You can download and test the software from the following Web sites:

<URL:http://www.lib.siu.edu/w3kiosk/w3kiosk.html> Usa mirror site

W3 Kiosk is a joined research of Library Affairs of Southern
Illinois University at Carbondale, USA and the Dept. of Italian
Studies of the University of Trieste, Italy.

Feel free to contact me for further details.
