Hiya...

Would it be possible to use the Nintendo PowerGlove as a poor-man's
dataglove? Obviously the sensitivity isn't there, but it would allow some
degree of interaction.

Anyone know the 1) technical info about the power glove? 2) The pinouts,
electronics, etc? 3) what kind of interface would be needed?

And (long shot here) does anyone have the ability to jurry-rig a NPG
to an NEC Ultralight's RS-232C port and write a mouse driver? (I know, long
shot.)

I've seen the NPG for as low as $30, a bazilionth the cost of a dataglove.
It must have _some_ reasonable use in the VR field, most likely as a public
relations/demo device.

Any thots?
