Hi,

To those of you who use Xterminals that are on internet: Let's
not talk about VR/Virtual worlds... lets just experience the real
thing. I have setup this VR-system in sweden. It requires a
client to connect. The client on its turn requires Xwindows.

Let me warn you: it ain't 3D VR. It is 2D with some sense of
depth added. But being 2 dimensional does not stop a system from
being virtual and interactive. The system is called BSX and can
be considered to be like a multi user sierra-adventure. Because
it is multi user, the interaction with the system becomes much
more real because live persons are interacting with you in real
time. Your movements/actions are display both on your CRT as well
as on the CRTs of people that are online as well.

If you want to experience a session, you must have access to an
X-terminal (color). If you do, ftp anonymously to
alcazar.cd.chalmers.se and goto the directory /pub/incoming/bsx.
Be sure to use Binary mode!

Note to moderator: Let's move the Netherlands one 'leage' up, OK?

[MODERATOR'S NOTE: The Netherlands is a probationary 1-1/2, pending
responses to this invitation. Bram's system sounds fascinating. As
a non X-terminal user, I invite you to post your responses here. --
