ANNOUNCING...		THE FIRST CONFERENCE ON
		      CYBERSPACE IN MUSIC THERAPY

			   February 29, 1992

			    CALL FOR PAPERS
			    ---------------

This conference will focus on the current and proposed uses and issues
involving electronic technology in the Music Therapy Field. We are especially
looking for papers which describe the use of audio in computer-driven
applications, such as virtual realities. The paper should have at least
a short section describing how this system could be used in a therapeutic
setting.

We have been invited to join the Medical Arts Conference which is being
held in New York City at the end of February. Our conference will appear as
a special interest segment of MedArts. Two publishers have expressed interest
in our proceedings, so it is highly likely that accepted papers will gain
wider distribution than just the conference attendees.

Suggested topic areas:

	* Computer Graphics * Multimedia Displays
	* Digital Audio * Tactile Feedback
	* Biofeedback			* Psychoacoustics
	* Holography			* Telecommunications
	* Interactivity * Medical and Therapeutic
						Applications

Papers should be between 5-15 pages in length and submitted by Jan 1, 1992
in camera-ready format. Manufacturers and vendors will be provided with
exhibition space. Full details regarding the conference (fees, location, etc.)
will be sent, in a few weeks, to individuals providing us with an email or
snail-mail address.
