I'm pleased to announce that sci.virtual-worlds is now being
carried on Japanese USENET nodes.  There are several distinguished
Japanese colleagues who have been receiving sci.v-w via a mailing
list.  I hope that they will now be active participants here, along
with our other Asian, European, North American, and -- yes,
'Roos and Kiwis from Down Under -- coworkers and onlookers.

If you have questions about developments in Japan, I hope that you
will ask them and that they will be able to answer.
