So, we have a DG-I here are Syracuse U. We'll be upgrading to a
Model II soon, but would like to use the older model.

Does anyone still have documentation for this beast? VPL does
NOT have any! (Or, they don't want to provide any....) All I
have is a demo game, but no documentation to do my own development.

The DG-I used electronic sensors instead of the fiber-optics of
the model II.

As a tidbit for anyone who reads this far: VPL is now selling
a high-resolution head mounted display: something like 640 X
720 pixels. Much much much better than the fat pixel resolution
of the previous version.

BTW: for the DG, I'm particularly interested in bypassing the
Macintosh software for decoding the data. So, I would love
to have both the pre- and post-Mac data stream description.

Thanks...
