Hey Net.world,

We're could I find any papers on the topic of navigation of
objects/people through a virtual world? Anything dealing with
a powerglove as the basic tool of navigation would be appreciated,
as well as anything else similiar.

	Thanks

[MODERATOR'S NOTE: Not a guide to navigating in virtual worlds, which I
believe the folks at University of Alberta have thought and written about,
but I recommend Passini's WAYFINDING IN ARCHITECTURE (1984) as a classic
in the field of "wayfinding." Also, Dr. Enfield in the Psychology Dept.
at the University of Washington just published a thesis on wayfinding and
cognitive space. I will post a review when I receive a copy. More
pointers on this and related issues -- three-dimensional "Tufte-ism"! --
are welcome! -- Bob Jacobson]
