I was wondering, has anyone who reads 
this newsgroup done any Virtual Reality at home?
What I mean by at home is...

Has anyone built a head mounted display for under $1000?

Has anyone gotten real time stereo 3D rendering to work
on a something that costs less than a pair of Silicon Graphics Workstations?

Has anyone been awestruck by what life would be 
like if you could hook one of those cheap 
Nintendo Power Gloves to any computer you liked?

Does anyone have a living room filled with pieces of rangefinding
equipment pulled out of instant cameras?

If so please let me know.
