A lot of people have expressed interest, but I have not heard of any
successes yet... I have heard of people using an LCD TV as a single
CGA display, and this should not be very difficult. The problem is
in driving 2 displays from a PC (and also using hi-res and color).

This post got me to thinking, would it be a good idea to have a new
newsgroup that is something like: sci.virtual-worlds.home-made
that would be specifically for discussing building low-cost VR?

[MODERATOR'S NOTE: One can easily start a new newsgroup, with sufficient
public support, but do consider the implications of fragmenting what is
already a fairly limited stream of information and a tenuous community
of interest. Since PowerGlove went off into a mail list, we've heard
almost nothing of it publicly...which may or may not be to the interest
of parties, depending whether they're on or off. -- Bob Jacobson]
