Actually, I don't worry about the military usage of VR.  After all, back in the
'40's it was the governments who really started pushing computer development.
Britain used 'em for code-cracking, and I believe that the US wanted theirs
to plot trajectories for artillery or something along those lines.  And, of
course, there was the space race in the '60's.

And we all know what a horrible place the world has become because of this
government-sponsored technology...

Moral:  Even the darkest of government plots can go awry and help someone ;).
