...and the right place to get an answer!  You should read the file plg.txt
that came as part of the distribution; it documents the file format.  I'm
working on simple converters from OFF to PLG and from Movie BYU to OFF.
With these, plus the existing TDDD to OFF converter that's available on
the net, you should have access to OFF, TDDD and BYU format objects.

Are there other popular polygon-based formats I'm missing?
