[MODERATOR'S NOTE: I received the following note from David Edelsohn at
Syracuse University. David is unhappy with the blips, which get in his way.
Do others feel this way? If so, we'll modify our posting policy. Please
let me know, as has David Edelsohn. Thanks. -- Bob Jacobson]

Dear Mr. Jacobson:

I am an avid reader of sci.virtual-world as part of my relationship
with Syracuse Univesrity's Virtual Reality Lab. I am quite annoyed by the
change in format of subject lines, e.g. the prepending of a short category.
Sci.virtual-worlds does not get that much traffic that it needs more
categorization. The additional info makes it hard to scan subject lines
for interesting articles. Would you please discontinue prepending ADMIN,
TECH, and other such labels to subject lines?

					David
